M.R.M. Parrott writes Philosophy of today’s Dynamism
RIMRIC / COLUMBIA, SC (12 October, 2008)

M.R.M. Parrott’s six volumes of books in Philosophy and Science, previously released in 2002 and 2005, have been re-released on mrmparrott.com. The books include “The Generation of X” (Essays, 1991-95), “The Ethos of Modernity” (on Michel Foucault, 1995-96), “The Empiricism of Subjectivity” (on Gilles Deleuze, 1996-97), “The Pure Critique of Reason” (on Immanuel Kant, 1998-99), “Synthetic A Priori” (Interviews, 1998-99), and “Dynamism: Volume I” (Ontology and Quantum Mechanics, 2001-2004). The omnibus completes a collection of fourteen book downloads released throughout 2008.

Ranging from papers to interviews and full treatises, the works lead to Parrott’s first volume of “Dynamism”, a comprehensive series on dynamic processes. Parrott is to work on the follow-up volumes. “In school, I wanted to be a Philosophy professor when I grew up,” Parrott says, who recently returned to South Carolina from Chicago to live and teach near alma mater USC. “Rebellious, I was surprised at the constraints of academic writing and funding, and naturally avoided that to pursue Philosophy as an independent scholar. My books completed before ‘Dynamism’, and before my ‘Timeless’ novel trilogy, were an apprenticeship in Philosophy and Literature, built on my professional academic training at USC. Since then, branching out from the great tree of knowledge, I’ve offered my voice on the challenges and dynamism of contemporary life.”

M.R.M. Parrott’s books include the novel trilogy “Timeless”, novella, “To Lie Within the Moment”, travelogue “Driving Home”, monographs in Philosophy, and chapbooks of poems and short stories.
