Fury Road Completes “Intersections” and Production Book

Alt-Blues-Funk-Rock recording artist Fury Road, formed by writer, designer, composer and percussionist M.R.M. Parrott, has completed single releases for debut album “Intersections” with tracks “Fury”, “Drive” and “Sing”. Releases began on 28 June as MP3 downloads from iTunes, CD Baby, Amazon, ReverbNation and other sites. M.R.M. Parrott wrote, performed, produced, engineered, and designed all portions of the debut concept album. His production book has been released, “Fury Road: Intersections”, including his lyrics, acknowledgments to friends and former band members, and extensive notes about his experiences making the music. The album’s nine songs tell a three-act story based on real-life events for the Columbia SC writer, but also stand alone.
“This uptempo third act of three songs,” Parrott says, “is the bright ending promised after the emotionally complicated first act and dark second act.” “Drive” was originally the first song idea worked on in 2010, Parrott explains, while “Sing” was written in September of this year during production. M.R.M. Parrott’s music includes prior Fury Road downloads, a tribute solo to drummer mentors, and unreleased works of classical music. His books include the novel trilogy “Timeless”, novella, “To Lie Within the Moment”, travelogue “Driving Home”, stage play “Ctrl-V”, Philosophy and Science series “Dynamism”, monographs in Philosophy, and chapbooks of poems and short stories.
