This was my first [chap]book, though I only realized it years later, when I divided it from Another Generation Cometh. From my first poem, “Dream Frames”, I started writing at 17, with an early lyrical (and love-struck) range which extended to “Stop Motion” and “Palmyra”. Early stories, or prose poems, like “The Puppet”, “The View” and “Red Lenses”, pointed toward future directions in my work.
