M.R.M. Parrott's fifteenth book is a full-length comic stage play. Ctrl-V (“control-vee”) is about a writer, Victor, the difficulties of relationships, pressures of their families, and expectations of gender and creativity in society. The play was completed in six months after incorporating a number of short story drafts, and like the novella, it fits in with the four chapbooks of poems and short fiction.

Victor's books are being plagiarized and his engagement with Aimee is in trouble, amid control from everyone around him on his Birthday. A full-length stage play, Ctrl-V (Control Vee) is a romantic comedy about Vee, a writer and artist who questions his family, friends, gender roles which do not seem to work, even his own independent creativity in a culture dominated by uncritical, unquestioned fame.
